Amlodipine MPO (using TDC)

Amlodipine MPO (using TDC)#

Type of objective function: discrete Environment to run this objective function: poli tdc

About#

This objective function computes the Multi-Propery Objective (MPO) of a given SMILES/SELFIES with respect to Amlodipine, and is part of the MPO family of GuacaMol [Brown et al., 2019] benchmark. We compute it using the Therapeutics Data Common’s oracle [Huang et al., 2021].

Prerequisites#

None. This black box should run out-of-the-box.

How to run#

import numpy as np
from poli.objective_repository import (
    AmlodipineMPOProblemFactory,
    AmlodipineMPOBlackBox,
)

# Creating the black box
f = AmlodipineMPOBlackBox(
    string_representation="SMILES" # SMILES by default, can be SELFIES
)

# Creating a problem
problem = AmlodipineMPOProblemFactory().create()
f, x0 = problem.black_box, problem.x0

# Example input: (taken from the TDC)
x = np.array(["CC(C)(C)[C@H]1CCc2c(sc(NC(=O)COc3ccc(Cl)cc3)c2C(N)=O)C1"])

# Querying:
y = f(x)
print(y)  # Should be close to [[[0.46108397]]
